This event will feature a guided River Valley stroll, led by Loreley from the Wild Bird General Store. We will learn about the basics of "birding", how to spot birds and how to tell what kind they are. Along the way we will feed the chicka-dees and look for other signs of animal activity (think Stalking and Tracking). Bring binoculars and bird field guides if you have them. If not, they will be provided! This event would be a great place to use your bronze level field guide.

Please RSVP to YNC Leader Lee Carter, (lgcarter@naturealberta.ca) if you will be attending this FREE EVENT! This event has a MAX capacity of 40 participants or about 10 families. An other birding Explorer Day is being planned for January so if you miss out this month not to worry.
