The Parks Division would like to invite your feedback on a proposal to expand the boundary of Fish Lake Provincial Recreation Area, near Nordegg.The consultation period for this proposal will start on August 13, 2010 and end on October 13, 2010.

As part of Alberta Tourism, Parks and Recreation’s commitment to consult with stakeholders and the public, the Parks Division would like to invite your feedback on a proposal to expand the boundary of Fish Lake Provincial Recreation Area, near Nordegg.

The proposal would add approximately 164 hectares of public land to Fish Lake Provincial Recreation Area.Expanding the park’s boundaries would help meet increased recreational demand, and improve public safety and site management efficiency.

Information on the proposal, as well as instructions for providing online or written comments is available atwww.albertaparks.ca/consult.

The consultation period for this proposal will start on August 13, 2010 and end on October 13, 2010. The website will be updated once all comments have been considered and a decision has been reached. Please check back after October 13 for updates.
